Natural Ingredients

Our products are either 100% natural or naturally-derived. Naturally-derived means ingredients derived from natural origins which may have undergone minimal processing.

Natural Fragrance

Fragrance is often a term used to hide Phthalates as an ingredient. Issa Miracle only scents our hair products with all-natural, phthalate free fragrances.

Cruelty-Free

All our products have never been tested on animals!

Phthalate-Free

Phthalates are used to make plastics flexible and to lubricate cosmetics. They are known endocrine disruptors chemicals that interfere with regular hormone function in the body.

Silicone-Free

Silicone is synthetic. They coat hair and cause buildup in hair that isn’t washed with strong detergents, causing hair to be weighed down and feel heavy.

Sulfate-Free

Sulfates are cleansing agents that remove dirt and oil and are responsible for creating lather in shampoos and soaps. While all sulfates are not “bad” for you, harmful sulfates that have been known to strip natural oils from the scalp and hair which deplete sthe naturally produced sebum that moisturizes your hair. This causes dry and brittle hair!

While sulfates can be beneficial for hair that gets oily quickly or has looser curls, they're usually a no-no for naturally curly hair.

Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES)
Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate

Mineral Oil & Petroleum-Free

Mineral oil is a moisturizing agent that does not absorb. It is petroleum derived. They coat your hair and scalp so effectively, they suffocate them! These ingredients can cause acne, hindered skin respiration, imbalanced oil levels in your scalp, and skin irritation.

Aluminum-Free

Aluminum is usually used in cosmetic products as pigments or thickening agents. This ingredient is often associated and possibly linked to breast cancer and Alzheimers.

Pharben-Free

Parabens are believed to disrupt hormone function by mimicking estrogen. Additionally, consumers have been hesitant to purchase products with parabens because of the perception of being cancer causing. You'll see them labeled on hair products as propylparaben, benzylparaben, etc.

"Bad" Alcohol-Free

There are certain "Good" alchols that are actually benefical to to curly hair as they add moisture by drawing water to the hair, adds slip for detangling and adds thickness to a product.

However, "Bad" alchols strips away oils from your scalp a little too well, leaving your hair dry and brittle!
